In April, when it is warm and sunny, the Light and Fashion Night and Fashion Short Film Competition Honors Ceremony of the 14th BJIFF Film & Fashion Section came to a successful conclusion!
On April 20, as dusk fell and the moon began to shine, the jury members, brand guests and performers invited to participate in the Fashion Short Film Competition stepped on the star-studded red carpet to make the honors ceremony glorious!

After rigorous review and profound discussion by Su Mang, Jury President of the 1st Fashion Short Film Competition, famous fashion media professional and Dean of the Soul Art Center, David White, an Australian film sound designer, Chinese actress Lou Yixiao, Roger Tredre, a course leader for the MA Fashion Communication program at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, Chinese singer Shang Wenjie, Louise Wong, an actress from Hong Kong, China, and Chinese director Zhang Li, the winners of the seven honors were decided finally.
The three founders of the Film & Fashion Section, Ms. Su Baoyan, Mr. Zhang Chenzheng and Mr. Lyu Yan, gathered together with a common vision to promote the fashion industry. They proposed to build a bridge between Film & Fashion. Fashion and film blend and inspire each other although in different fields. The collaboration aims to combine film creativity with fashion elements to create works with unique charm, while using the influence of the film to enhance the popularity and market influence of fashion brands.

After a passionate performance of We Are Dreamers by young actors and singers Yang Zhaoyang, Li Ruotian, Wang Jiangyi and Deng Zeming, the shortlist of films was revealed in a nebula fantasy scene!
More than 20 outstanding national fashion brands were invited to the Fashion Short Film Competition of the Film & Fashion Section, and ten brands, including EMBRY, HENGYUANXIANG, HENRY GRANT, K-Boxing, LILANG, GIUSEPPE, TANGY, WANDIAN, VICUTU, and XG were shortlisted in this year's Fashion Short Film Competition for poetic script, deep feeling on the world, pure color, or space-time-scheduled scenario!

At the Honors Ceremony for Fashion Short Film Competition of the Film & Fashion Section, a wonderful performance and exciting awards interwoven into a gorgeous picture. The young girls dressed in black clothes made a curtain call with soft and elegant dancing, which opened the prelude to the grand ceremony. After that, the singers appeared in turn. Pan Chen's mellow voice, Wu Yingxiang's soulful singing, Tian Shuchen's passion, Han Song's soulful style, and film music medly performed by Huang Shiyi, Xiu Zihan and Liu Yufei, all brought unforgettable music feast to the audience. The amazing appearance of the classical dance Divination, sketched an incomparable image for the stage with a touch of red pretty image.

It was followed by the unveiling of the winners of the seven honors of the Fashion Short Film Competition.
Under the bright light, Ms. Louise Wong, Director Zhang Li, Mr. Huang Xiaolei, Ms. Lou Yixiao, Ms. Wu You, and Ms. Xu Yizhen were specially invited to announce the winners, and Director Cao Yin, General Ming Zhenjiang, Ms. Su Mang, Ms. Su Baoyan, Mr. Li Sanlin, and Mr. Roger Tredre invited to award honors for the seven winning films. Seven short films stand out with their unique creativity and profound meaning, including Predestination, Beauty of All Things, In the Mountains, 95 Wenzhou Girl, MiLi, Youth · 100 Years and Go Ahead won the honors of "Best Sustainable Fashion”, "Best Sound Design", "Best Cinematography", “Best Communication”, "Audience Favorite" and "Best Director". These films not only show the perfect combination of fashion and film, but also convey deep thoughts on nature, culture, dreams and the future through delicate pictures and affectionate narration.
As the most high-profile focus of this ceremony, the "Best Brand Story Film" was announced and awarded by Li Yufu, former Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, who announced the winning fashion short film - Intimacy! Through the heroine's thinking in underwear design, the film shows EMBRY's persistent pursuit of comfort, green, health and high quality, while deeply exploring the challenges faced by modern women in balancing family, career and personal ideals. This honor is not only the recognition of EMBRY, but also the praise of modern women's perseverance and the spirit of pursuing dreams.
