As one of the first screen goddesses in Hollywood, Lillian Gish is one of the screen icons in the age of silent films. She starred in The Birth of a Nation, Intolerance: Love's Struggle Throughout the Ages, Duel in the Sun and other classic films, and received the Honorary Academy Award in 1971.
The documentary film Lillian Gish to be screened at the 14th BJIFF was directed by Jeanne Moreau, a prestigious actress of the French New Wave and a French screen goddess. The two great female filmmakers had a conversation in this way, making the audience so excited. What's more, this documentary film will make its China premiere, so anyone watching it will be among the first batch of audiences.
